3. Candidates have to meet high
standards and demonstrate a track record of exceptional professional
achievements, which includes senior positions, awards, patents, memberships,
featuring in international publications, etc. PhD graduates with international
recognition and exceptional talents in the target sectors can also be eligible.
4. Candidates should attract a high
salary that meets the Fair Work High Income threshold – which AUD 158,500 (₹87 lakhs
approximately).
Application Process
Step 1: Similar to the General Skilled Migration
visas, aspirants for this visa also have to submit an Expression of Interest
and supporting documents (in English) to the Department of Home Affairs. This
Expression of Interest will not expire. Those who meet the visa requirements
will receive an invitation to apply via email.
Step 2: Invited candidates can submit a visa
application online through Immi Account. Family members can be included in the
application. Applicants must undergo a medical examination and security checks.
After due verification, the Department will issue a final decision on the visa
application.
