The Latest Canberra Matrix Invitation Rounds Invited 344 Candidates

Canberra – the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) – nominates eligible registrants under the Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) Visa. Eligibility is determined through Department of Home Affairs criteria, and a score-based Canberra Matrix – which allocates points to each candidate based on demonstrated economic contribution and commitment to the ACT community.

Highest scoring candidates who can fulfil the minimum score requirement – which varies with each invitation round – are invited to apply for nomination. The online application, supporting documents and service fee must be submitted within 14 days of receiving the invitation.

On 9th October 2019, 220 invitations were extended to candidates who scored 130 to 70 points in the Canberra Matrix, or submitted a 65 point Matrix on or before 31st July 2019.

On 27th September 2019, 124 invitations were extended to candidates who scored 120 to 70 points in the Canberra Matrix, or submitted a 65 point Matrix on or before 1st July 2019.
