Latest Canada Express Entry Draw Invites 3,900 Skilled Workers

On 30th October 2019, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada invited 3,900 candidates from all three federal Express Entry streams. Under the Express Entry System, the aspirant submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) under the stream that they are eligible for. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) allocates points to each candidate, based on various criteria. Through regular invitation rounds or ‘draws’, those who satisfy the minimum point requirement or ‘CRS cut-off’ – which varies with each draw – are invited to apply for permanent residence.

In this round, invitations were extended to candidates who scored 475 or more CRS points and submitted their EOIs before 3:50:24 UTC on 29th August 2019.

Since this was the first all-program draw conducted since 2nd October 2019, there was ample time for the Express Entry pool to be replenished with high-ranking profiles. As a result, the latest CRS cut-off was 11 points higher than the 2nd October draw.
