Nova Scotia Labor Market Priorities Draw Targets Registered Nurses

The Labor Market Priorities Stream of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) identifies eligible registrants from the federal Express Entry pool, who are qualified to fill skills shortages in Nova Scotia’s labor market, and invites them to apply for provincial nomination – within 30 days of receiving a Letter of Interest (LOI).

A Labor Market Priorities draw conducted on 28th October 2019 issued LOIs to 430 candidates who:
Have three or more years of work experience in the primary occupation of registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse (NOC 3012).
Submitted an Expression of Interest in the Express Entry pool under a stream that they were eligible for, on or after 1st November 2018.
Possess a bachelor’s degree; or completed a three-year or longer program at a college, trade or technical institute, university, or other institute.
Scored CLB 8 or higher in each test component of an approved English or French language examination.
